    The InnoRenew CoE is an independent research institute, formally established in the year 2017 in the frameworks of the project InnoRenew CoE.

    At the InnoRenew CoE we are conducting research about renewable materials and sustainable buildings, and we are transferring our scientific knowledge into industrial practice. We focus our research activities on innovative and interdisciplinary approaches of wood and its use.

    Our international team of professionals and scientists have diverse areas of expertise, are active with our Living Laboratory, and are available for everyone who may need it in their work.

    Nordic Innovation is a Nordic organisation working to promote cross-border trade and innovation.

    Nordic Innovation is funded by the Nordic Council of Ministers, which is the official inter-governmental body for cooperation in the Nordic region. The Nordic cooperation consists of Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Iceland, in addition to the self-governing areas of Greenland, the Faroe Islands and Ă…land. With its 26 million inhabitants, the Nordic cooperation is one of the most comprehensive regional partnerships anywhere in the world.

    Nordic Innovation is a vital instrument for the Nordic ministers of business, energy and regional policies and shall contribute to make the Nordic region a leading region for sustainable growth, and increase entrepreneurship, innovation and competitiveness in the Nordic region.

    Nordic Innovation supports projects and programmes to stimulate innovation and works to improve the framework conditions for Nordic markets and exports.

    Nordic Innovation has an annual budget of appx. NOK 80 million. Our office is situated in Oslo, Norway with 24 highly qualified employees from all the Nordic countries and with expertise from all kinds of business areas.
